Scholarship Awards We award our scholarships only to students from schools we have chosen to sponsor. At the present time, we can only accept applicants from the Carl Hayden High School in Phoenix.

The criteria our Scholarship Committee use include the following:
  • High school academic performance;
  • Scores on standardized tests such as SAT or ACT;
  • Extra curricular activities that indicate initiative and leadership;
  • Written recommendations from two faculty members from the school;
  • A few short essays to help the Scholarship Committee understand the applicant and his or her perspective on the world;
  • An interview with a member of the Scholarship Committee;
  • Documentation of family need.
Our scholarship awards are intended to help the recipient complete a four-year course of study, and will normally be for a Bachelor's degree. However, this is not a limiting requirement. We will consider other courses of study at approved and accredited institutions.

We consider our awards to be renewable at the end of each term or semester. In order to maintain an award, each term or semester we require the recipient to submit his or her current academic transcript; explain which courses were taken, why, and what was learned from them; and explain the rationale for the course selection for the coming term or semester.
